Performance and Value…Standard

Hitachi’s Echelon 1.5T is a premiere value in MRI. A reliable imaging tool, Echelon delivers excellent image quality and RF fat saturation with workflow advantages in patient setup, motion compensation, and image processing. With the short-bore gantry and small footprint, Echelon offers a simple solution for customer’s upgrading or replacing equipment.

A staple of performance in many imaging centers, Echelon has established a long track record of operational reliability along with patient comfort and safety.

  • 1.5T superconducting magnet with high performing 33/150 gradients
  • 8 or 16 channel RF receiver with a wide range of coils
  • 50cm FOV in all axes
  • High quality, whole body imaging applications that matter most to your practice

Product Details

Guaranteed Homogeneity with HOAST

High uniformity is an essential component to high image quality and consistent fat saturation. Echelon delivers 0.5 ppm homogeneity in a 30cm DSV (volume) – a large highly uniform imaging volume – combined with Hitachi’s HOAST patient specific higher order shimming capability. Offering two levels of shimming enable exquisite RF fat saturation, without forcing patients to maintain uncomfortable positions (e.g. “superman” position for fat saturated wrist imaging).

4.0 Software with VERTEX II Computational Platform
Echelon 4.0 Software enhancement brings more computing and processing power with the new Core i5 computer platform offering new clinical capabilities in:

● ADAGE
● RAPID-RADAR
● VASC-FSE
● BeamSat TOF
● SIR Map
● microTE
● T2 RelaxMap
● Chemical Shift Imaging

Applications

Neurological Capabilities That Matter
Echelon provides high resolution, fast motion compensated visualization of anatomical structures for obtaining detailed images of the brain, nerve tissues and spinal structures in multiple planes for the diagnosis of lesions, demyelinating disease and other disorders.

Physiological and quantitative analysis post-processing supports more advanced neurological assessment needs such as susceptibility, diffusion and perfusion applications.

Musculoskeletal Capabilities That Matter
Echelon provides high quality, thin slice, small field of view imaging all supported by high order active shimming technology (HOAST) for uniform fat saturation.

With effective and standard solutions for fat suppression and metal artifact reduction, Echelon delivers a versatile imaging suite for your day-to-day MSK imaging needs.

Body Capabilities That Matter
Body imaging requires short breath-hold times with extended coverage, dynamic imaging with high temporal and spatial resolution, and flexible motion compensation.

Configured with a breadth of sequences and protocols for Breast, MRCP, Enterography, Prostate, and female Pelvis, Echelon is up to the challenge.

Vascular Capabilities That Matter
Echelon supports the diverse demands of MR Angiography (MRA) and MR Venography (MRV) imaging with techniques designed for ease of use to simplify the acquisition process, while sophisticated image processing tools provide 3D visualization of vasculature.

With the importance of non-contrast imaging, Echelon offers multiple MRA solutions that reduce cost and risk.
