Recently PMI has been contracted to supply Portable X-Ray units to be used at testing facilities throughout New York State. PMI is in constant communication and working closely with its essential New York/Long Island suppliers such as: Carestream Health, Source Ray Inc, First Source Inc and Fujifilm USA to ensure the timely manufacturing of these life- saving products. These suppliers have ramped up production and risen to the challenge by adding employees and additional shifts to their production operations to ensure the completion of all the critical systems in a timely manner. To ensure immediate availability to healthcare professionals on the front lines of this fight, PMI engineers from around the country are coming to New York and donating their time to personally install and transport these units. “I will be in the field as well supporting these installs, as I wouldn’t have my team do anything I wouldn’t do” added Bill.
PMI is also supporting the needs of healthcare partners by providing 24/7 remote diagnostic solutions via the latest PMI Touch Technology. This capability will help limit exposure for patients, healthcare staff and PMI employees. During installations and on-site technical support, PMI is following the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and local hospital guidelines to prioritize safety.
